Free Pram & Stroller Tune up ?

Free Pram & Stroller Tune up!

As mentioned in our blog article How to Clean, Service and Maintain a Pram or Stroller, every pram and stroller requires regular maintenance – just like a car. Routine care keeps steering smooth, folding mechanisms working properly, helps prevent avoidable safety issues.

Pam Stroller Tune Up

What builds up over time? Wheels and bearings collect dust and grime that make a pram harder to push and steer. Seats and harnesses need deep cleaning for hygiene and to protect fabrics. Moving joints can gunk up, causing stiff or incomplete folding/unfolding. Brakes also attract dirt and need regular cleaning and lubrication. Checking bolts, nuts and tyre condition helps prevent premature wear – and keeps your pram safe and reliable.

Pram Joints

Why maintenance matters for safety: Sun-affected plastics can become brittle and crack; neglected joints can seize; and poorly maintained brakes can fail at the worst time. Any of these can lead to a pram that won’t fold to get into the boot – or won’t unfold when you need it – and in rare cases may create a safety hazard.

Pram & Stroller Tune-up FAQ

How often should I service my pram?

Light users: every 6–12 months. Frequent outdoor users (sand, gravel, trails): check monthly and plan a professional tune-up every 3–6 months. Always follow your brand’s manual.

Can I lubricate all moving parts?

No. Only lubricate parts where the manufacturer allows it. Some components are made to be dry. Using the wrong product can attract dirt or damage plastics.

Will the free tune-up fix damage or replace parts?

The complimentary tune-up covers inspection, cleaning and adjustment. It does not include repairs, parts or consumables (e.g., tyres/tubes). We’ll quote if anything needs replacing.

Is cleaning the seat fabric included?

We assess fabric condition and advise on care. Deep cleaning is not included in the free tune-up, but we can recommend suitable products and methods based on your brand.
